| He said he would write me a letter of recommendation. I enjoyed the lastest zombie movie Zombieland.
In terms of “educational games” I enjoyed Simcity 2000 and Sid Meirs Civilization 3 and 4. Some of the electives I took in my undergraduate degree were journalism I and 2 and creative writing 1 and 2. I also once took a class in grammar. I know that some of the grammar in this essay is off, sorry deal with it I am expressing myself this way deliberately. In journalism we were taught to keep it short but sweet. I can expand on almost all of these experiences, but that is what the phone number at the top is for. I am striving for a quick snapshot of my experiences here, that is all. My main goal is to be a production assistant or administrative assistant for gaming company or other agreeable enterprise. |

My Gaming Experience

I started playing computer games way back in 1980. I am only going to talk about one game in particular from my early gaming days. I later got very involved with Everquest and this is where the bulk of the substance of my social interactive gaming experience and leadership experience comes from. Anyway, The one game I want to talk about from the early days is Ultima 4. It was a game that rated you on 8 spiritual axises : Compassion, Humility, Honor, Valor, Justice and Some others. I developed an addiction problem in my early teen years, but I was fortunate enough to be sent to an N.A. meeting as a consequence of my being caught smoking pot. The game Ultima 4 probabley saved my life. In recovery, spirituality is the only cure.
I got deeply immersed in playing everquest. I had a Barbarian shaman by the name of arnoldofgaul. I was a raid leader for Forces of Destruction. I also led some raids for utopian before that, though they may have been pickup raids. I left the Povar server and joined a top ranking guild www.srguild.com . We did beta testing for the expansion that followed The Buried Sea. We were one of the first twenty guilds to finish Solteris. I was the only shaman for much of the beginning of our battle with the first event of Solteris, The mayong sisters.
I have been known to play a bit of the pen and paper Role-Playing games. I am going to Megacon again in Orlando March 12-14. I had some experience at a prior convention in Ohio Gencon 35 4-5 years ago as a LAN supervisor on a volunteer basis. I had the mod thing for Neverwinter Nights before it came out. I didn’t really get into it though.
