Glen's Updates
It's been an amazingly hectic 3 weeks since I last posted here. I have been busy reading, writing, posting and discovering new venues for building my business. I have read just about every email sent to me. Bookmarked almost all websites people have recommended. Joined several programs, list builders, traffic exchanges. I have started two blogs at: http://www.bizlinkblog.com and http://taxdeductions4homebusiness.net/ Both are related to home or internet businesses. Mostly info and resources And I have published two articles. One is a book review on the "Nomad's Guide to Make Money Online" and the other is about home business tax issues we all face. Best success to all. Glen

It's amazing how much new technology is impacting online marketing in the short time I've been away! I've been busy reading the free reports and ebooks offered. Bottom line is that the more thing change, the more they stay the same. I found one of my old articles from 10 years ago still on the internet. Side note: Amazing how many articles get "borrowed" without the credit tags for attribution. Anyway, classic ad writing still follows the formula, AIDA, Attention - Interest - Desire - Action.

I am starting to get into the swim of things rebuilding my internet business after a long layoff. It's amazing how much new stuff, ways of building businesses have changed yet many of the good, old methods and programs are still around. Until I regained my strength and stamina, I just did not have much desire to maintain my online presence. The impetus to start again came from the lack of residual checks from the online programs I had going. The last check (deposit into my PayPal account) was in August 2009. That was not so bad as I received residual payments for almost two years since my last effort on the 'net. One of the biggest mistakes I made in letting my internet business go was not renewing my domain names. I checked on GoDaddy.com to see if one of my old domain names, AchieveUSA.com, was available. It is, but they have listed it as a premium domain name for only $26,200.00; BuyDomains.com owns the name. Guess I'm not buying my old domain name anytime soon. So far I have purchased nine new domain names and have parked most them at GoDaddy.

My BIO
I have a wonderful wife, 4 stepkids and son. Grandchild #9 was born in October. Christmas at our house is always great. Kids are having fun, the dogs barking and the cats no where to be seen. I started my internet business in the mid 1990's but have been inactive the last several years due to having and recovering from major surgery. My recovery was followed by my computer failing and losing all my business data. I love the challenge of starting over.
